✅ Ingredients (1-2 servings)

  • 1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, about 6–8 oz)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 10–12 slices pepperoni
  • ½ cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional toppings: chili flakes, grated parmesan, fresh basil

🍽️ Tools You’ll Need

  • Air fryer (6-quart or larger)
  • 6-inch round cake pan or deep dish pan that fits your air fryer
  • Rolling pin or your hands to stretch the dough

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prep the Pan

  • Lightly grease the bottom and sides of your deep dish pan with olive oil to prevent sticking and help crisp the crust.

2. Shape the Dough

  • On a floured surface, stretch or roll the dough into a 7-inch circle.
  • Place it into the greased pan, pressing it gently up the sides to form a deep crust.

3. Build the Pizza

  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle a generous layer of mozzarella cheese.
  • Arrange the pepperoni slices and mushroom slices on top.
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning for extra flavor.

4. Air Fry

  • Place the pan into the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until:
    • The cheese is melted and bubbly.
    • The crust is golden brown and cooked through.
  • (Check at minute 8; every air fryer is a bit different.)

5. Let It Cool

  • Carefully remove the hot pan using tongs or oven mitts.
  • Let pizza rest for 2–3 minutes before removing from the pan.
  • Slice and serve!

💡 Tips

  • Want a crispy bottom? Remove the pizza from the pan and air fry for 1–2 minutes directly in the basket at the end.
  • Don’t overload with toppings—air fryers cook best with light, even layers.
  • For extra depth, sauté mushrooms before adding to reduce moisture.

🧀 Variations

  • Add onions or bell peppers for extra crunch.
  • Swap pepperoni with cooked sausage, turkey bacon, or plant-based options.
  • Use pesto instead of tomato sauce for a twist.
