Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburgers
Ingredients
- 1 dozen Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnuts
- 6 beef burger patties (store-bought or homemade)
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
- 6 slices of cooked bacon (crispy)
- Optional: lettuce, tomato, and pickles for topping
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Burger Patties
Season the beef patties with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat, and cook each patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty in the last minute to let it melt. - Prepare the Doughnut “Buns”
Slice each Krispy Kreme doughnut in half horizontally to create a top and bottom “bun.” - Assemble the Burgers
Place each cheesy burger patty on the bottom half of a doughnut. Top with a slice of crispy bacon, and add lettuce, tomato, and pickles if desired. Then place the top half of the doughnut on the burger to complete your Krispy Kreme bacon cheeseburger. - Serve and Enjoy
Serve the burgers warm with your favorite sides like fries, onion rings, or a simple salad.
