Ingredient notes
- Olive oil – I like the flavor of olive oil, but another light tasting oil like avocado will work as well.
- Coconut aminos – You can sub soy sauce or use our homemade coconut aminos recipe.
- Coconut sugar – You can sub brown sugar if desired.

The Easiest 4 Ingredient Chicken Marinade
With just 4 simple ingredients you can get juicy and delicious chicken. This simple marinade is one you can use to flavor chicken breasts and thighs for baking or grilling. You’ll love it!
Ingredients

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos, (can sub soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar, (can sub brown sugar)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions

- Add all of the marinade ingredients to a bowl and mix well.

- Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours. Cook chicken as desired.
Notes
- Recipe yields approximately 1/2 cup of marinade. This amount will work well for about 1 lb of chicken (breasts or thighs). Recipe can be scaled up or down to suit your needs.
- Leftover marinade – You can baste chicken with the leftover marinade while cooking. Just bring the leftover marinade to a boil in a small saucepan to kill any bacteria and baste away.
