🍗 Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing Recipe

A delicious, no-fuss meal that’s perfect for busy days!

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 4–6 hours (on LOW)
Servings: 4–6


📝 Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix (like Stove Top)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 cup frozen green beans or corn for a full one-pot meal

🍳 Instructions:

✅ Step 1: Layer the Chicken

  • Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom.
  • Season with garlic powder and pepper.

✅ Step 2: Add the Stuffing

  • Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the chicken.

✅ Step 3: Mix the Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until smooth.
  • Pour this mixture over the stuffing layer (do not stir).

✅ Step 4: Add Optional Veggies

  • If using frozen vegetables, sprinkle them over the top now.

✅ Step 5: Cook

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or on HIGH for 2.5–3 hours.
  • Chicken should be tender and cooked through.

✅ Step 6: Serve

  • Fluff the stuffing with a fork.
  • Serve warm with a side of salad or steamed vegetables.

💡 Tips:

  • Add a splash more broth if you like it a little saucier.
  • You can shred the chicken before serving if you prefer a pulled-style texture.
  • Want a richer flavor? Add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese in the last 30 minutes.
