Slow Cooker Drumsticks with Crispy Air Fryer Finish
Ingredients:
- 6–8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional, for heat)
- ½ cup BBQ sauce (or your favorite sauce)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
1. Cook in the Slow Cooker
- Season the drumsticks – In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and chili powder. Rub the seasoning all over the drumsticks.
- Slow cook – Place the drumsticks in the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until tender.
- Add sauce – Pour BBQ sauce over the drumsticks in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
2. Crisp in the Air Fryer
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
